Mudugere & surrounding areas surprised us with scenic, green landscape in the middle of May month. Add to that food, hospitality extended by Mahima, Vidhay made our stay memorable.

The food was absolutely delicious—homemade, fresh, and full of local flavor. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared and added so much to the overall experience. From the delightfully crisp akki rotti paired with flavorful kesavina chutney , neer dosa , rice noodles (semige) with rich coconut rasayana, every dish reflected her passion for cooking. Paddu, avalakki, chapati, crispy dosas, and the heavenly carrot holige—each bite was a revelation. And the estate-grown Robusta coffee? Simply divine. Beyond the indulgent meals, the homestay embodies tranquility and comfort in perfect harmony. The spacious rooms are spotless and thoughtfully designed, with cozy beds that ensure a restful night’s sleep. Strolling through the estate, we were enchanted by a gentle stream, pristine surroundings, and the joy of birdwatching, a soothing escape into nature. We witnessed almost everything Tejaswi beautifully depicted in his writings about Mudigere—except, of course, the elusive flying lizard and his beloved dog Kiwi. Staying at Coffee Native felt less like a vacation and more like visiting a cherished family home—a place of warmth, authenticity, and deep-rooted hospitality. It is also an exceptionally safe choice for solo and group women travelers, making it an ideal retreat for anyone seeking solace in nature. Clean, neat homestay with excellent food set amongst nature at its best .We loved our walk through the estate down to the stream.We loved all our meals which was nothing but a lavish homemade spread. Kudos to Mahima and her team for proactiveness and hospitality . Everything right from booking to checkout was smooth and warm . Will definitely be back for a longer time with probably even with a larger group !

Coffee Native gave us the ultimate experience of a cosy homestay amongst the hills. Perched beautifully in the middle of a coffee estate, this amazing property has all the amenities for an enjoyable vacation. The food served here is home made and fun activities available.
